It's fishing day. The sun is high in the sky. Standing in the water next to the wooden pontoon, the young fisherman scrutinizes each mesh and meticulously prepares to cast his net.

Net fishing is tradition in the Cambodian countryside.

This banal scene takes Dina Thun back to her childhood memories in Kampong Cham province, on the banks of the Mekong River.
