Tây Nguyen is a Vietnamese painter and designer born in 1987. He divides his time between Paris and Vietnam.
As a child, Tây lived in Binh Thua, a southeastern province of Vietnam His mother was a seamstress and he learned from her sewing, embroidery, a taste for fabrics, silk work and traditional cuts.
Spotted as a child and trained by the painter Tran Quang Dinh, he undertook studies and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design at Ho Chi Minh University.
His childhood is omnipresent in his work, whether in watercolor on silk that allows her to develop fine, elegant, minimalist and sensual works, or in oil and knife works that allow him to pay a vibrant, living and free homage to landscapes and nature.
