Exhibition

To mark this event, Opsone, the Webagency in Champs-sur-Marne, welcomes Galerie Oia for an exhibition of works by Khmer and Thai artists

Saturday April 27 and Sunday April 28, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., come and discover works by:

Din, Karona, Chhim Sothy, Ramya Chuon, Channy Choeun,

Dina Thun, Nou Sary, Ponleu, Van Chhovorn, Kosal Long

Sangkrant in Cambodia, Pi Mai in Laos, Songkran in Thailand, Thingyan in Burma, different terms to designate these festivals which last 3 days and mark the renewal and the end of the harvest period before the arrival of the rainy season.

This festive period is marked by celebrations that include religious rituals and offerings to the Buddha, family reunions and joyous lively water fights, during which people throw water at each other to purify yourself and wish yourself luck and prosperity for the new year.
