Indian ink on paper
Sothy Chhim's poetry is expressed in traditional painting as well as in abstraction or even in homage to calligraphy and Indian ink drawings.
With this work on paper, he pays homage to Angkor Wat, considered the largest religious monument in the world, listed as a World Heritage Site.
Initially Hindu then Buddhist from the end of the 12th century, it is the national symbol of Cambodia and belongs to a complex of more than 200 temples covering 35,000 hectares which was the seat of the former capital of the Khmer Empire.
