Karona created a series of four "Water Lilies" designed to be hung together or individually.

The theme of Waterlilies, with their long intertwined roots, is a recurring theme among Khmer artists, calling for reflection on the origins and links of a people who have in recent history been cut off from their culture and partly decimated.
